Role Overview

We are hiring experienced Projects field Engineers across Mechanical and Civil disciplines to lead and coordinate field execution, ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements, manage contractors, and keep projects on schedule and budget.

What You'll Do

HSE First: Enforce company and client HSE policies; lead toolbox talks, risk assessments, and incident reporting. Drive a zero-harm culture.

Planning & Control: Develop and maintain short-interval plans and look-ahead schedules; track progress against Gantt charts; support recovery plans where needed.

Construction Management: Supervise day-to-day site activities, coordinate method statements, ITPs, and permits; manage interfaces between trades and subcontractors.

Quality Management: Implement ITPs, conduct inspections and tests, raise NCRs/SNAGs, and close out punch lists; maintain as-built documentation.

Contractor Management: Brief, align, and monitor subcontractors on scope, safety, quality, and schedule; verify productivity and workfront readiness.

Change & Risk: Identify scope deviations, prepare change requests/claims inputs, and support risk registers and mitigation actions.

Client Relationship: Act as a professional point of contact on site; align daily goals, attend progress/HSE meetings, and manage expectations.

Reporting: Produce daily/weekly reports (progress, manpower, equipment, HSE, QA/QC), red-line/as-built markups, and photo logs; support monthly valuations.

Technical Leadership: Review drawings/specs, coordinate RFIs/TTQs, support constructability, and resolve site clashes.

Documentation & Systems: Maintain disciplined filing in line with project document control procedures (transmittals, submittals, correspondence).

Nice-to-Haves by Discipline

Mechanical: rotating & static equipment installation/alignment, hydro/pneumatic testing, welding/NDT familiarity.

Civil: Earthworks, foundations, concrete, structural steel, roads, industrial buildings, surveying and setting-out.

Tools & Digital Skills

CAD (2D & 3D) for markups and coordination; BIM (Revit/Navisworks) is a plus.

Scheduling: MS Project (Gantt charts, look-aheads, progress S-curves).

Office & Reporting: Advanced Excel/Word/PowerPoint; strong technical writing.

Drawing Control: Ability to read complex multidisciplinary drawings and generate clear red-lines/as-builts.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering (or equivalent).

8+ years site experience on heavy industrial EPC/EPCM projects.

Proven time management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong project management mindset: planning, monitoring & controlling, earned-value awareness.

Solid understanding of HSE and QA/QC systems and Egyptian codes/standards (international codes a plus).

Experience coordinating contractors/subcontractors and interfacing with clients and consultants.

Fluent Arabic and professional English (written & spoken).

Willingness to travel nationwide and work on rotation as required by project phase.
