Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Cairo for an Operations Officer specializing in Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance. The Operations Officer will oversee daily freight forwarding operations, ensure compliance with customs regulations, liaise with clients and vendors, and manage documentation for shipments. Responsibilities also include optimizing logistics processes, resolving operational issues, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining high service quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, and Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledge of Compliance and Regulatory Standards related to customs and international trade
  • Proficiency in Documentation Management and Record-Keeping for shipping and customs
  • Strong Problem-Solving, Critical Thinking, and Coordination skills
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation abilities
  • Attention to detail and organizational proficiency
  • Familiarity with Logistics Software and tools is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
