Air Freight Coordinator
to join our company.

Responsibilities

·       Coordinate the transportation of airfreight shipments from origin to destination.

·       Schedule flights and arrange space with airlines or freight forwarders.

·       Ensure timely pickup and delivery of cargo by customer requirements.

·       Prepare and verify shipping documents such as air waybills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

·       Ensure accuracy and compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements.

·       Ensure that all shipments comply with customs regulations and requirements of both the origin and destination countries.

·       Resolve any issues related to customs documentation or clearance delays.

·       Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their airfreight shipments.

·       Provide timely updates on shipment status, transit times, and delivery schedules.

·       Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

·       Utilize tracking systems to monitor the movement of airfreight shipments.

·       Provide real-time updates to customers and internal stakeholders on the status of shipments.

·       Liaise with airlines, ground handlers, customs brokers, and other service providers involved in the airfreight process.

·       Negotiate rates and service agreements to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation services.

·       Monitor vendor performance and address any service quality issues or concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferable.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Air Freight Coordinator.
  • Very good command of the English language.
  • Proficient command of MS Office and Excel.
  • Experience in ERP systems is a must.
