Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting and Tax Specialist at COFICAB, located in 10th of Ramadan. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, managing journal entries, and utilizing accounting software to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include supporting financial reporting, analyzing financial data, and ensuring the accurate preparation of taxation records and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and product costing.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and reconcile stock records with the finance system.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost allocations and timely reporting.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and maintaining accurate accounts
  • Strong skills in using Accounting Software and managing Journal Entries
  • Solid knowledge of Finance principles and effective Analytical Skills
  • Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, English Section
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
  • Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience in the manufacturing industry

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and MS Excel is a must
