Sales Cosmetics Manager

- Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Cosmetics Manager to lead our team of Beauty Advisors and Artists. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a proven track record in retail sales, a deep passion for the cosmetics industry, and an exceptional talent for developing people. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing day-to-day counter/store operations, and ensuring every customer has an unforgettable brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
2. Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Drive key performance indicators, including Average Transaction Value (ATV), Units Per Transaction (UPT), and client acquisition.
4. Lead the team in achieving individual and team sales targets through coaching and motivation.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and implement strategies for clientele growth and retention.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of Beauty Advisors.
2. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create individual development plans.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and competitive team environment focused on excellence.
Manage team schedules, payroll, and break schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
Customer Experience & Service:
1. Set the standard for world-class customer service and ensure the team delivers a consistent, brand-right experience.
2. Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating expert product knowledge and advanced artistry techniques.
3. Handle elevated customer service issues with professionalism and poise, ensuring swift resolution.
4. Oversee the execution of in-store events, promotions, and product launches to drive traffic and engagement.
Operational & Merchandising Excellence:
1. Manage all operational aspects of the counter/store, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and shipment processing.
2. Ensure the selling floor and displays are impeccably maintained, clean, and visually merchandised according to brand guidelines.
3. Oversee the integrity of testers and maintain hygiene standards.
4. Manage operational budgets and control expenses.
Marketing & Community Building:
1. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local marketing initiatives and social media campaigns.
- Build a strong local clientele base through networking and community outreach.
3. Encourage and train the team on effective social selling techniques.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of retail management experience, preferably within the cosmetics, beauty, or luxury goods industry.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team to achieve exceptional results.
Strong business acumen with experience analyzing sales data and making data-driven decisions.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with POS systems.
