Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality control processes for all furniture products, ensuring adherence to company and industry standards.
  • Lead and manage the quality control team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of production lines, materials, and finished goods to identify and address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with product design and manufacturing teams to integrate quality assurance protocols into new product development.
  • Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain documentation for quality control procedures, inspection criteria, and compliance records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure incoming materials meet required specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards within the furniture manufacturing process.
  • Drive a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across all departments involved in product development and manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality control or quality assurance within the furniture or alternative furniture manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of managing quality control teams and processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of furniture production methods, materials, and industry quality standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
