Job Title: BTL Account Manager

Department: Client Servicing / Account Management

Job Summary

The BTL (Below The Line) Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and leading the execution of on-ground marketing campaigns, activations, events, and trade marketing initiatives. This role bridges client objectives with creative and production teams to deliver impactful, measurable BTL campaigns that drive engagement, awareness, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day communication and project requirements.

Understand client business goals and marketing strategies to translate them into effective BTL campaign plans.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Campaign Planning & Execution

Develop and manage BTL campaign proposals including creative concepts, activation ideas, budgets, and timelines.

Oversee the execution of promotional campaigns, events, product launches, roadshows, retail experiences, and sponsorship activations.

Coordinate with internal departments (creative, production, procurement, logistics, digital, etc.) to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Manage on-ground operations and ensure flawless event and activation execution.

Financial Management

Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and client billing.

Manage project budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control.

Handle vendor negotiations and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.

Strategic & Creative Input

Provide strategic insights and creative recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Support the creative team with market insights, consumer behavior data, and competitor analysis.

Reporting & Evaluation

Develop post-campaign evaluation reports, including ROI, performance metrics, and key learnings.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional agency services.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.

3+years of experience in BTL marketing, activations, or experiential agencies.

Strong understanding of event management, brand activations, and consumer engagement.

Excellent project management and multitasking skills.

Strong client servicing and communication abilities (verbal and written).

Budgeting and financial acumen.

Team player with leadership skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
