Job Summary :

The Cybersecurity Practice Head is a senior leadership role responsible for
building, scaling, and owning the entire cybersecurity services practice
—from business development and service portfolio definition to delivery execution and client success. This role combines strategic planning, presales leadership, solution design, project delivery oversight, and team development.

The Cybersecurity Practice Head acts as the
trusted advisor
to clients and an internal
force-multiplier
, ensuring that our cybersecurity offerings are competitive, profitable, and aligned with the company's long-term vision.

Responsibilities:

1. Practice Strategy & Development

  • Define the company's
    cybersecurity service portfolio
    , including GRC, SOC, Cloud, AppSec, and AI Security, advisory, implementation, managed services, and emerging areas.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify demand trends, partnership opportunities, and new revenue streams.
  • Develop practice-level KPIs, pricing models, delivery methodologies, and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous innovation in service offerings.

2. Business Development & Presales Leadership

  • Own end-to-end business development for cybersecurity services—from opportunity identification to closing deals.
  • Lead presales activities including scoping, solution design, proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and customer presentations.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert during sales cycles, establishing the company as a trusted cybersecurity partner.
  • Support the sales team with training, playbooks, and repeatable deal structures.

3. Delivery Ownership & Project Governance

  • Oversee delivery of cybersecurity projects to ensure quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical leadership, decision-making, and guidance to project teams.
  • Establish best practices, frameworks, and delivery governance models.
  • Manage escalations and serve as the executive sponsor for major projects.

4. Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team, including consultants, engineers, and SMEs.
  • Create skill development plans, certification paths, and knowledge-sharing programs.
  • Mentor team leads and senior consultants, increasing delivery autonomy and expertise.
  • Support resource planning and allocation across implementation and managed services.

5. Partnership & Ecosystem Management

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with vendors (e.g., GRC, SOC, AI platforms), integrators, and industry bodies.
  • Drive partner certifications, joint go-to-market initiatives, and solution co-development.

6. Client Relationship & Advisory

  • Act as the senior advisor for key customers, providing executive-level guidance on cybersecurity strategy, risk, and transformation.
  • Conduct executive presentations, health checks, and program reviews.
  • Identify and grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in cybersecurity, including hands-on experience in at least one domain (GRC, SOC, cloud security, etc.).
  • Proven experience leading delivery teams and managing large cybersecurity programs or portfolios.
  • Strong presales and client-facing ability, including proposal writing and solution design.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, Zero Trust, etc.).
  • Experience building or scaling service practices is a major plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and commercial acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting environments or system integrators.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ISO 27001 LA/LI.
  • Experience defining service catalogs, pricing models, or go-to-market strategies.
