Job Purpose

Our ideal candidate will provide exceptional service in all aspects of the sales floor - greeting customers, selling, product knowledge, styling, cash wrap, restocking, and overall shopkeeping. Sales associates are responsible for dealing with all customer requests and questions about the products and services the company offers in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and to achieve optimum sales. A sales associate is expected to continuously update their knowledge of company products, services, and processes.

Another key responsibility is maintaining the presentation of the shop floor, products and

displays.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers and respond to their requests. Improving engagement by providing for their needs in a timely manner.
  • Guiding the customers with the variety of products, their usages, and their components by providing information and advice.
  • Keeping clients updated regarding client-preferred sales and future products of potential interest.
  • Displaying products in a visually attractive manner to promote sales. Maintaining a tidy appearance of the shop floor.
  • Replenishing the shelves as needed to assure perfect stock capacity at all times. Attaching price tags to all products on the shop floor.
  • Up-sell and Cross-sell products and services in order to reach daily sales targets.
  • Keep a log of customer feedback regarding products (price point, offering, trends...)
  • Participate in stock planning and product development cycle when needed.
  • Documenting sales records to ensure accurate stock keeping.
  • Processing payments by totaling purchases, handling cash, debit and credit cards or any other payment options.
  • Balancing cash registers with receipts. Monitoring and recording all store expenses as per company policy.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in applied arts, fine arts, or equivalent
  • 1+ Years of experience in a design-related field
  • Able to Support an environment of genuine customer connection.
  • Acts as an empowered team member, exercising decision-making skills to enhance each customer's experience.
  • Takes ownership of individual awareness of product knowledge and current trend
  • Good verbal communication and basic math skills.
  • A strong will and determination to reach established sales goals.
  • Having the ability to remain calm and courteous when handling customer complaints.
  • Is knowledgeable of trends and supports brand messaging.
  • Gains understanding of how merchant skills impact business and the customer experience.
