We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Projects / Technical Engineer for Building Management Systems (BMS) to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be pivotal in the design, implementation, and optimization of BMS solutions for various construction projects, ensuring that they meet both client specifications and industry regulations. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to enhance building efficiency and comfort while reducing energy consumption.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements for BMS installations.
  • Design and integrate BMS solutions that optimize building performance and ensure energy efficiency.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of BMS systems in compliance with project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BMS systems during the construction phase and post-installation.
  • Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors to facilitate project coordination and proper BMS integration.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, operation manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to building management systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, installing, and managing BMS solutions in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting control, and energy management principles as they relate to building systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for BMS installations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and contractors.
  • Experience with KNX software and tools, such as AutoCAD and energy management software.
