Orchida Tax is seeking a skilled freelance
Microsoft 365 consultant
to design, develop, and implement a task and project management solution leveraging Microsoft Lists, Power Automate, and Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate will help us automate daily task assignments, enforce task visibility restrictions, organize tasks into projects and stages, and enable KPI tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize Microsoft Lists to manage daily tasks, assign to team members, monitor delays, and organize tasks into structured projects and stages.
  • Implement automated workflows with Power Automate for task notifications, permission management, and escalation procedures.
  • Integrate the solution within Microsoft Teams for seamless collaboration and visibility.
  • Design and configure views, filters, and dashboards for real-time KPI and achievement monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft 365 Business Basic licensing limitations and optimize use of available tools.
  • Provide documentation and training to users on the implemented solution.

Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of
    Microsoft 365 Business Basic
    environment, including Teams, Planner, SharePoint, and Lists.
  • Proven experience customizing
    Microsoft Lists
    for project and task management, including creating custom columns, views, and managing item-level permissions.
  • Strong skills in
    Power Automate
    to build workflows automating task creation, notifications, permissions, and reporting.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft 365 tools for
    collaborative teamwork
    and visibility inside Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with
    KPI tracking techniques
    within Microsoft 365, including integration with Power BI or Lists calculation fields.
  • Ability to work within cloud service limitations and optimize licensing constraints.
  • Strong communication skills to document solutions and train end-users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications such as
    Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
    ,
    Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate
    , or related certifications.
  • Prior freelance or consulting experience implementing Microsoft 365 task/project solutions.
  • Understanding of security and privacy best practices within Microsoft 365.
