DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement the Group's financial strategy in line with its investment and operational objectives.
  • Provide full oversight of financial and accounting policies, budget preparation, and medium- and long-term financial planning.
  • Manage cash flows, capital structure, and optimize the efficient use of financial resources.
  • Prepare and analyze periodic financial statements and reports, and present them to senior management and Boards of Directors.
  • Monitor the financial performance of subsidiaries, analyze variances, and take necessary corrective actions.
  • Oversee the Group's relationships with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and relevant regulations.
  • Support investment and expansion decisions through feasibility studies and specialized financial analysis.


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • A relevant university degree in Accounting, Finance, relevant postgraduate studies are preferred.
  • A minimum of 20 years of professional experience in the financial field, including senior leadership roles within groups of companies or diversified business entities.
  • Experience as a Partner in a leading accounting firm, or as a Chief Financial Officer of a major holding company.
  • Maintaining at least one of the professional certificates (ESAA, CPA, etc).
  • Preferable an audit partner in one of four big international accounting firms.
  • Strong expertise in account standards, budgeting, financial analysis, risk management, and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Proven leadership, decision-making, team-building, and communication skills across all management levels.
  • Solid knowledge and experience of dealing with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
  • Proficiency in modern financial and accounting systems and related applications.
  • Fluent English (written, spoken, and reading).
