Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the estimation/technical department. The technical department have estimation teams for Lighting fixtures, Systems (e.g. lighting control), and lighting design.
  2. Provide suggestions for developing departmental procedures and processes.
  3. Promote cooperation and team spirit among subordinates.
  4. Review reports submitted by subordinates, hold meetings to discuss them, and resolve any obstacles to progress.
  5. Evaluate subordinates' performance and approve their annual vacation plans.
  6. Identify training needs, follow up on implementation of training programs, and ensure skills development.
  7. Recommend recruitment needs for the department based on the needs and requirements.
  8. Prepare periodic reports on departmental progress and submit them to the direct supervisor.
  9. Perform tasks assigned by the direct supervisor related to the scope of work.
  10. Oversee all departmental tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Motivate, train, and guide the team to achieve objectives.
  12. Provide technical solutions and problem-solving support.
  13. Ensure high-quality outcomes and compliance with company standards.
  14. Generate performance reports on departmental activities, including quotations, projects, and resource allocation.
  15. Maintain strong communication and coordination with Saudi Arabia.
  16. Ensure the department operates within the allocated budget, covering salaries and associated expenses.
  17. To improve the negotiation skills with the vendors and find value engineering solutions which shall help to submit optimal solutions.
