Role Description

We are seeking a qualified
Tendering Engineer – Infrastructure Projects (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
to join our team in
El Maadi, Cairo, Egypt
.

This is a
full-time, on-site
position responsible for preparing quotations, analyzing project requirements, managing procurement processes, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure accurate, competitive, and compliant tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the tendering process to deliver high-quality and timely bids.
  • Review RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents to identify client requirements, scope of work, and obligations.
  • Allocate and monitor tasks among the tendering team (quantity surveying, costing, vendor sourcing, documentation).
  • Prepare accurate and competitive BOQs, cost estimates, and technical proposals in coordination with procurement, engineering, and planning departments.
  • Review and validate supplier/subcontractor offers for technical and financial compliance.
  • Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings to gather technical data and assess project conditions.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure feasible and cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure tenders comply with client requirements and submission deadlines.
  • Support post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and smooth project handovers after award.

Requirements

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in electrical, civil, or mechanical estimation/tendering.
  • Minimum 2–3 years in a senior or supervisory role within a tendering team.
  • Previous experience in
    infrastructure, MEP, or industrial projects
    .

Skills

  • Strong understanding of
    electrical systems, codes, and standards
    .
  • Proficiency in
    tendering software (Candy, CCS, MS Excel, AutoCAD, etc.)
    .
  • Excellent analytical, cost estimation, and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of
    procurement and market pricing
    .
  • Leadership, time management, and multitasking abilities.
