Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tender And Procurement Mechanical Engineer located in Cairo. The role involves managing the tendering process, preparing procurement plans, evaluating bids, and ensuring materials meet project specifications. The engineer will also coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality control of materials and services. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for cost estimation, contract negotiation, and maintaining procurement records.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 10 years of experience in tendering, estimation, and procurement within construction or MEP contracting companies. - Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems, infrastructure. - In-depth understanding of procurement procedures, vendor management, and contractual terms, cost estimation analysis, value engineering.
