Role Description

Senior Mechanical Tender Engineer will play a critical role in preparing cost-effective and competitive tender proposals, ensuring compliance with project requirements and technical specifications. Responsibilities include analyzing project scopes, preparing detailed cost estimations, reviewing technical and material submittals, and collaborating with the procurement and engineering teams. The role involves evaluating subcontractor quotations, preparing technical clarifications, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in mechanical engineering concepts, systems, and project implementations
  • Experience in preparing tender documentation, cost estimations, and competitive proposals
  • Proficiency in analyzing engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities and detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in project deliverables
  • Familiarity with construction project timelines, local regulations, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including AutoCAD and MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant roles, preferably in construction or a related industry
  • Previous experience in supervisory roles and the ability to manage and lead teams
