Job Role:

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy to strengthen market positioning, increase demand, and support revenue growth. He/She will drive brand development, product positioning, customer engagement, and marketing innovation to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge in KSA, Egypt, and other markets.

Job Duties:

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with the company's business objectives
  • Lead the marketing team and oversee brand management, digital marketing, PR, and communications
  • Partner with sales and commercial teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with revenue goals
  • Provide insights to the executive team regarding market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior

Market & Customer Insights

  • Conduct market research, segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies for product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market plans
  • Champion a customer-centric approach across the organization

Brand Development & Positioning

  • Define and protect the company's brand identity and value proposition
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and geographies
  • Lead product marketing initiatives, including new product launches and lifecycle management

Demand Generation & Campaign Management

  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, traditional, events) to drive leads and sales
  • Monitor and optimize marketing ROI, lead conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness
  • Support sales teams with tools, content, and collateral that enable customer acquisition and retention

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience
  • Previously covered Senior Marketing roles for at least 5 years
  • Experience in B2B industrial/manufacturing sector is strongly preferred
  • Expertise in digital marketing, brand positioning, and GTM strategy development
  • Experience in creating strategic, efficient business plans across all aspects of marketing (branding, product management, etc.)
  • Strong background in building effective relationships across the business
  • Collaboration, creativity, and adaptability in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel when needed
  • Strong leadership skills, including setting direction, prioritizing, and achieving results
  • Ability to drive change across various stakeholders at all levels, with effective communication, influencing skills, and conflict management
