JOB PURPOSE

The
UX Writer
plays a crucial role within our digital bank's design team, responsible for crafting clear and compelling user experiences through written content. This role collaborates closely with designers, product managers, and developers to ensure that the content aligns with our design system standards and enhances the overall user experience.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Content Creation:
  Craft clear, concise, and user-focused content for digital banking products, including user interfaces and in-app messaging.
• Content Strategy:
  Develop and implement content strategies that align with the bank's brand voice and user needs, while adhering to regulatory requirements.
• User-Centric Focus:
  Advocate for user-centered content design principles, considering user behavior, needs, and preferences throughout the content creation process.
• Content Guidelines:
  Maintain content guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and quality across digital banking products.
• Content Testing:
  Participate in usability testing to validate content choices, making data-driven refinements to improve user understanding and engagement.
• Collaboration:
  Collaborate closely with Digital, Commercial, Channels Technology, Marketing, Control functions and Operations to ensure Digital experiences artifacts aligns with design standards and enhances the user experience moving forward.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience as a content moderator, UX writer, content strategist, or similar role in digital product design.
3. Proven experience with Sitecore or any similar Content management tools.
4. Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of content moderation work, with a focus on digital banking or financial services products.
5. Proficiency in collaborating with design and development teams to implement content in digital products.
6. Excellent communication skills to articulate and defend content choices effectively.
7. Familiarity with user research, usability testing, and design thinking methodologies.
8. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in UX writing and content strategy.
9. Experience in Agile or iterative development methodologies is a plus.
