Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Purchasing professional located in Qesm El Maadi. The role involves overseeing the purchasing processes, managing purchase orders, and handling general purchasing duties. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, negotiating with suppliers, tracking purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate records of purchases.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and evaluate supplier proposals.
  • Manage the full Purchase Order (PO) cycle from request to delivery and invoicing.
  • Maintain and update vendor database and establish strong supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of required materials/services.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and contractual requirements.
  • Utilize ERP systems (preferably Odoo) for purchase tracking, reporting, and documentation.
  • Prepare regular procurement reports and support audits when required.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–5 years in procurement or purchasing, preferably in ICT, Telecom, or Systems Integration sectors.

  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of RFQ and PO processes
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of ERP systems (Odoo preferred)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Certifications (If any): CIPS or CPSM
