Purchasing Lead

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

We are looking for a Purchasing Lead to support the execution and management of purchasing activities in accordance with Group Purchasing (GP) policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures for Indirect Materials (IM). In this role, you will work closely with local stakeholders and the GP team to help drive the company’s business objectives. You will play a key part in ensuring efficient purchasing operations and delivering optimal service to both internal and external customers.

This position is based at our factory located in the 10th of Ramadan City and will report to the Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with relevant departments to identify and plan needs for designated Indirect Material categories.- Source, evaluate, and approve suppliers—including audits when necessary—in cooperation with user departments.- Assist departments in defining optimal specifications and secure favorable agreements using the Tactical Purchasing Process and standard contract formats.- Place and monitor purchase orders in Matrix according to contracts, ensuring all related documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices, shipping documents) is efficiently managed.- Regularly update the vendor list to align with Jotun policies and regulations, and issue weekly order status reports to internal stakeholders.- Oversee invoice processing with Finance to ensure timely payments, maintain supplier relationships, and report KPIs to the Senior Indirect Buyer and Purchasing Manager.

Qualifications We Look for:
- Bachelor's degree- Preferably 5 years of experience in the purchasing field or relevant function.- Should be able to communicate in English and Arabic.
