We're seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Marketing Manager to lead our content strategy and marketing initiatives.

Role Overview

As the
Senior Marketing Executive
, you will be responsible for developing and executing a content and marketing strategy that elevates the Alter8 brand. This is a demanding, full-time senior role that requires strong creative direction, meticulous execution, and cross-functional coordination. You will work closely with internal teams, influencers, and freelancers to ensure the marketing function drives growth, engagement, and brand consistency—both online and in person.

You are required to attend events, and key meetings alongside the CEO to support brand representation and networking efforts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Strategy

• Lead the creative direction and content strategy across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).

• Design and manage content calendars, grids, and timelines for posts and stories.

• Oversee page moderation, posting, and reposting (no replying to DMs, only monitoring comments/messages).

• Communicate clear deadlines and expectations for all content deliverables.

2. Content Coordination & Production

• Source, gather, or produce on-brand content including gym updates, testimonials, photos, and videos.

• Coordinate content shoots with in-house staff and external freelancers.

• Ensure all models (coaches/clients) have signed consent forms before publishing content.
• Organize logistics for shoots (e.g., gym closures, team schedules).

3. Member Interaction & On-Ground Insight

• Engage with members and coaches within the facility to gather real-time feedback and ideas.

• Use on-ground observations to inform more authentic, relevant, and engaging content.
• Be a visible, friendly face of Alter8 to build trust and community among members.

4. Social Media & Digital Engagement

• Manage day-to-day content on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.

• Engage with online communities and monitor audience behavior and trends.
• Assist with website or landing page updates as required.

• Identify and respond to urgent or emerging content needs.

5. Event & Community Marketing

• Plan and promote internal fitness challenges, community-driven events, and member engagement campaigns that align with Alter8's values.

• Support all logistical needs for events, ensuring smooth execution and strong on-site brand presence.

• Present ideas for brand partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to the CEO, and assist in executing them where required.

6. Growth & Brand Collaborations

• Identify and collaborate with influencers, content creators, or even staff/coaches who genuinely align with the Alter8 brand.

• Develop and lead strategic partnerships with wellness brands, corporates, or aligned lifestyle businesses to grow brand exposure.

• Attend and actively contribute to meetings focused on strategic growth, innovation, and collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in a senior marketing or content role (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.

• Skilled in mobile content creation (iPhone) and basic video/photo editing.

• Graphic design experience is a significant plus (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).

• Excellent communication, project management, and people skills.

• Fluent English speaker with strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.

• Strong network of freelancers (photographers, videographers, editors, etc.).

• High level of responsibility, organization, and creative initiative.

• Comfortable interacting with members in person and representing the brand on-site.
