Moovit Logistics is expanding rapidly, and we're looking for a
high-caliber Import/Export Operations Team Leader
to join our growing team. If you're passionate about operations excellence, client satisfaction, and leading a strong operations team, this role is for you.

What You Will Lead

  • End-to-end management of
    import & export operations
    (Sea, Air & Land).
  • Overseeing file execution: booking, BL issuance, arrivals, customs documentation, clearance follow-ups, trucking coordination, and delivery.
  • Coordinating with carriers, agents, terminals, and customs brokers.
  • Ensuring profit per job and minimizing demurrage/detention.
  • Managing a team: assigning jobs, evaluating performance, and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Handling escalations and maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Working closely with Finance on invoicing and cost control.
  • Ensuring company SOPs are followed and continuously improved.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years experience in
    freight forwarding operations
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    customs procedures
    , INCOTERMS, shipping line processes, and documentation.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Excellent communication with clients and agents internationally.
  • Strong problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in CRM / TMS systems is a plus (CargoWise, Logitude, etc.).
  • Very good English (spoken + written).
  • High ownership, leadership, and attention to detail.
