Sales Supervisor

Job Purpose:
To lead and supervise the sales team to achieve targeted sales volumes for processed meat and poultry products. The role focuses on executing sales strategies, expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring consistent business growth within the FMCG food sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Oversee sales operations for processed meat products such as
luncheon, burgers, sausages, cold cuts, and processed chicken
. - Develop and execute sales plans aligned with market needs and company strategy.
- Ensure strong market coverage and distribution performance across assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare sales reports and provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Train, guide, and evaluate the performance of sales representatives.
- Ensure adherence to pricing policies, promotions, and commercial strategies.
- Coordinate with the finance department to follow up on collections and credit limits.
- Maintain product quality standards throughout the sales and distribution cycle.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the same role (Sales Supervisor).
- Strong hands-on experience in selling processed beef products (luncheon, burgers, etc.).
- Solid background in FMCG, especially in processed meat and poultry manufacturing.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a field sales team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to read sales data and turn it into actions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
