We're Hiring – Procurement Coordinator

Elaggar Group – Alexandria Branch

Elaggar Group is looking for a highly organized Procurement Coordinator
to support and execute daily purchasing activities at our Alexandria branch. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, documentation, supplier coordination, and ensuring the timely and cost-efficient procurement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of procurement plans and processes.
  • Source, compare, and evaluate supplier offers to ensure the best value.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, delivery dates, and order status.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier databases.
  • Follow up on shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Assist in negotiating prices, payment terms, and supply conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and help resolve issues related to quality or delays.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand purchasing needs and fulfill requirements.
  • Prepare routine procurement reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain is preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good command of English is a plus.
