Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Zahraa El-Maadi, Cairo, Egypt , for an Operations Officer. The Operations Officer – Export Division

Dynamic and results-driven export operations leader with extensive experience in managing international client communications, preparing commercial proposals, and ensuring end-to-end documentation and logistics for global shipments.

Qualifications:

  • Strong operations management and analytical skills to efficiently oversee processes and workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective collaboration within and across teams.
  • Basic understanding of financial management to assist in planning and operational budgeting.
  • Proficiency in problem solving and organizational skills to drive operational improvements.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with overseas clients on pricing, new offers, and responding to quotations
  • Creating proformas, commercial invoices, and documentation in line with export requirements
  • Liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners for streamlined transportation
  • Overseeing primary and final shipping declarations, including Verified Gross Mass (VGM) submissions
  • Preparing and submitting final export documents Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin based on payment terms (Letters of Credit, CAD, etc.)
  • Staying updated with current regulations from the Central Bank of Egypt, Customs, and Ministry of Trade
  • Monitoring shipping operations and managing client feedback for continuous improvement
  • Planning and executing marketing strategies and international fair participation (Europe, China, UAE, and beyond), including design and booth coordination
