HUCON is looking for a driven
Civil Technical Office Engineer
to join our team on the
Il Monte Galala project by Tatweer Misr in El Ain El Sokhna
. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional eager to own shop drawings, quantities, and approvals—ensuring buildability, quality, and progress in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing civil shop drawings from IFC/design drawings (RC elements, details, sections) and coordinating with Architectural & MEP trades
  • Preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), quantity take-offs/BOQs, and traceable calculation sheets
  • Running coordination/clash checks; raising RFIs for missing/ambiguous info and tracking to closure
  • Managing submittals/transmittals with disciplined revision/approval logs; aligning with specs and codes
  • Issuing timely detail sketches/clarifications to site and updating as-built drawings
  • Supporting planning and cost control with accurate quantities and revision impacts
  • Assisting in method statements and technical comparisons for materials/subcontractors as needed

Requirements:

  • BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 3–5 years
    of experience in Technical Office roles on building projects
  • Strong
    AutoCAD
    skills (essential);
    Revit/Civil 3D/Bluebeam
    familiarity is a plus
  • Proficient in
    Excel
    for BBS/quantities and log tracking
  • Clear communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with high attention to quality and deadlines
