Decorative Technical Sales Support Manager

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
In this role you will manage the technical service function by supporting the decorative sales team, providing technical advice internally and externally, conducting field inspections, and supervising painting progress to ensure the right product and correct usage of the finished coating in order to achieve the performance as claimed in technical data sheets and as per the Jotun technical specification.
This position is reporting to our Projects Sales Manager and based in our Jotun office building in Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the technical service function by coaching, monitoring, and supervising the daily activities of technical service and/or other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the achievement of objectives.-
- Liaise closely with Sales by coordinating upcoming projects, manpower planning, customer requirements, product deliveries, and other matters to ensure the availability of resources in order to meet project deadlines.- Work closely with direct manager, sales personnel, and other internal departments (e.g., CSD, QC, Production, Warehouse, Finance, etc.) by coordinating product deliveries, project issues, and customers’ requirements for technical services in order to meet customers’ demand.- Provide timely and quality technical service to customers and projects, as and when required to ensure painting works are carried out in accordance with Jotun specifications, all the while attending to all relevant HSEQ regulations. What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related field
- 3 to 5 years of technical sales support experience
- Mininum 3 years of experience managing a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Fluent in English and Arabic
