Job Title: PR and Communications Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled PR and Communications Manager to join our team at ElGouna Film Festival. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies to promote the festival and its brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing Messaging and Communication Strategies: Work closely with the Director of PR to create and implement messaging and communication strategies that align with the festival's goals and objectives.
  • Media Relations: Identify and engage with influencers, journalists, and other media outlets on social media to generate buzz and coverage for the festival.
  • Media Management: Manage all forms of media, including broadcast media, and relation productions.
  • Content Creation: Continuously look to improve and execute multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and infographics.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all festival materials have consistent and positive messaging and branding.
  • Relationship Building: Develop relationships and work with media outlets and other companies to promote the festival.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor metrics to measure the reach and impact of communications and to identify areas of success and opportunity.
  • PR Production and Distribution: Work with the PR Director to manage PR production and distribution, including drafting press releases and communications with local, regional, and national media outlets.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven work experience as a Communications Manager or PR Manager, preferably in a similar industry.
  • PR Agency Experience: PR agency experience preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated communication strategies that have positively impacted brand reputation and awareness.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing excellent written and verbal communication skills, including press releases, articles, and social media content.
