Job Description

At Laoret, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead our strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights to maximize conversion rates.
  • Revenue Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets by delivering exceptional sales performance and driving business growth.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research to stay abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity, informing business development strategies.
  • Client Communication: Effectively communicate with potential clients through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Meeting Coordination: Arrange business meetings with prospective clients to showcase Laoret's services and solutions.
  • Solution Promotion: Promote the company's services by addressing or predicting clients' objectives, highlighting the value proposition and differentiation.
  • Sales Contract Preparation: Prepare sales contracts in adherence to established rules and guidelines, ensuring smooth transaction execution.
  • Quote Preparation: Prepare quotes for customers, following up to convert quotes into projects and drive revenue growth.
  • RFP Evaluation: Evaluate and process RFPs as necessary, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful bid execution.
  • Sales Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc., providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Feedback and Support: Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to clients, fostering long-term relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure a solid repository of relevant and up-to-date materials for sales, enhancing the overall sales experience.
  • Presentation Skills: Conduct on-site and remote presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating Laoret's value proposition and services.
  • Client Information Provision: Provide clients with relevant information about the company, solutions provided, pricing structure, production processes, project management, and customer service.
  • Marketing Strategy Implementation: Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, contributing to the company's overall growth objectives.
  • Trend Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, meeting regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy and inform business decisions.
  • Customer Visits: Conduct visits to current and prospective clients, building relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Experience: Proven working experience as a business development executive in the Translation industry, with a strong track record of success.
  • Translation Sales: Experience in translation and localization sales or business development, with a deep understanding of the industry and its nuances.
  • Marketing Team Collaboration: Experience working closely with a marketing team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • B2B Sales Track Record: Proven B2B sales track record, with a history of closing new business and driving revenue growth.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. HubSpot), with excellent data analysis and forecasting skills.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong market knowledge, with the ability to analyze industry trends and customer drivers.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-Motivation: Organized and self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Education: BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, with the ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
