Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Resource Management Specialist to join our team at Laoret. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality resources according to project scope and timelines while maintaining stable vendor support.

  • You will recruit, screen, select, qualify, and develop external resources to meet client needs.
  • Apart from recruitment, you will analyze data to ensure we have sufficient linguistic capacity to accommodate clients' requirements.

To succeed in this position, you should have excellent written and verbal English communication skills and experience in vendor management, preferably in the localization field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment of external linguistic resources based on required specializations, verticals, and budget constraints.
  • Data analysis to review the linguistic pool and ensure sufficient capacity to meet client needs.
  • Recruitment of new specialized vendors to create and expand multilingual resource supply databases.
  • Assessing and defining requirements for external resources and identifying resource solutions.
  • Defining test procedures for resource qualification and handling test translations and other work samples.
  • Supporting other departments by providing requested data.
  • Supporting resource requirements for tenders and quotations.
  • Following up on contracted freelancers' quotas and reporting to relevant parties.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions for purchased services.
  • Maintaining current information on file by compiling and updating vendor data and documents.
  • Setting up, following up, and maintaining contracts.
  • Supporting vendor integration and development by building partnerships and monitoring resource availability.
  • Acting as the escalation point for vendors and creating vendor partnerships focused on utilization, cost control, quality, and commitment to projects.
  • Following industry developments and language professional community benchmarks, and liaising with local organizations and universities to promote talent management.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in vendor management, preferably in the localization field.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • A second language is a plus.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • Experience in negotiating and persuasion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management.
