We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our interpretation services across the EMEA region. As Global Interpreter Network Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust network of interpreters, negotiating contracts, and ensuring high-quality talent is available to meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Development: Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified interpreters in the EMEA region, covering various languages and specializations.
  • Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with freelance interpreters, agencies, and other language service vendors to ensure a reliable pool of talent.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate rates and terms with linguists and vendors, balancing competitive pricing with high-quality standards.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain an up-to-date vendor database, tracking interpreter performance, availability, and certifications.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team to ensure recruited interpreters meet linguistic and technical standards.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure all interpreters comply with industry standards, certifications, and client-specific requirements.
  • Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and interpreter availability in the EMEA region, identifying opportunities to expand the vendor network.
  • Demand Planning: Partner with the project management and sales teams to understand upcoming demand and ensure timely availability of qualified interpreters.
  • Cost Management: Monitor interpreter costs and vendor spend, ensuring projects remain within budget while maintaining high-quality service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in vendor management, talent acquisition, or recruitment in the localization or language services industry, with a focus on interpreters. A strong understanding of the interpretation industry and interpreter qualifications is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively liaise with linguists and internal teams. Strong negotiation skills are also necessary to secure competitive rates and build mutually beneficial relationships with vendors.

We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
