Job Description:

  • We seek a skilled professional to identify, recruit, and onboard qualified vendors specializing in multimedia and interpretation services, ensuring they meet quality standards, reliability, and turnaround times.
  • The ideal candidate will build and maintain a robust vendor supply chain capable of handling various multimedia and interpretation requests, from video/audio projects to live interpretation assignments.
  • Fostering strong relationships with vendors is crucial for smooth collaboration, optimized performance, and issue resolution during projects.
  • Negotiating vendor agreements, rates, and terms of service that align with business objectives while maintaining competitive pricing is a must.
  • Closely collaborating with the quality assurance team to evaluate vendor performance, ensuring adherence to project specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
  • Forecasting and managing vendor capacity to ensure availability for ongoing and future multimedia and interpretation projects.
  • Integrating vendors into project management systems, ensuring they have necessary tools and resources to meet project needs.
  • Continuously assessing the vendor pool and implementing strategies to enhance performance, reduce costs, and streamline operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in vendor management within the multimedia and interpretation sectors.
  • A strong understanding of the multimedia and interpretation landscape, including media formats, technologies, and market trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and secure favorable terms.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with multimedia production tools, interpretation platforms, and vendor management software is beneficial.
  • The ability to quickly identify issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements in vendor performance.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
