Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our global localization projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex and large-scale localization projects, with excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timeline, and resource allocation, to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including linguists, engineers, and vendors, to ensure seamless project execution and quality control.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the budget and financial aspects of projects, including cost tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Status Updates: Provide regular status updates to clients and internal stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and guide junior project managers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in localization and project management.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Client Relationships: Manage key client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for account growth.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in localization project management.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing complex and large-scale localization projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Budgeting Skills: Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on location and experience.
