Job Title: Senior Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all technical aspects of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility for the overall management and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor management, to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Implement quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of construction excellence.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and procurement teams, to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, such as clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities, to address project requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Optimize resource utilization, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles impacting project timelines and deliverables.
  • Champion a culture of safety and compliance by enforcing adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
  • Implement proactive measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience of 7-10 years in the construction and finishing industry, with a minimum of 5 years focus on renovation, FF&E refurbishment, finishing, and fit-out of interiors in mega hospitality and commercial projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with hospitality specifications, standards, and industry best practices is highly desired.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel and work at various project sites as required.
  • Preferred Skills: Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is advantageous.
  • Experience with large-scale or complex construction projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building standards.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work on-site and manage field-based activities.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of a construction environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required depending on project locations.
