Head of Sales

As the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth in Egypt. You will be responsible for managing the sales teams in Egypt, setting sales strategies, targets, and ensuring these are aligned with the company's goals. You will actively be involved in sales and relationship building with key and major accounts, as well as high-value contracts negotiation.
Success in this role means delivering on ambitious revenue targets, successfully acquiring new accounts, improving our market position, and contributing to the overall performance of our business in Egypt.
**Responsibilities**:
This role requires a combination of strategic planning and hands-on execution. You will be actively involved in implementing sales and revenue growth strategies. You are expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at the CXO level in major client organizations, participate in closing significant deals, and personally contribute to building our customer base.
**Sales Planning and Revenue Growth**:
- Actively engage with the Sales team in strategic account planning, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies.
- Implement a structured review process for all deals with significant value, playing an active role in the decision-making process and negotiating with the client when necessary.
- Develop and implement a Key Account Management strategy to improve customer satisfaction and drive organic growth.
**Sales Performance Analysis and Improvement**:
- Perform regular and rigorous reviews of sales performance metrics with the Heads of Sales, discussing strategies for improvement and identifying new opportunities for revenue growth.
- Set up a regular review cycle for win/loss analysis, and share the insights derived with the relevant teams.
**Customer Relations and Negotiation**:
- Act as a strategic partner for key clients, aiding in negotiations and fostering strong relationships with decision-makers.
- Directly participate in complex or high-value deal negotiations, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to close deals effectively and expediently.
**Interdepartmental Coordination**:
- Facilitate communication between the Sales and other departments, ensuring a clear understanding of mutual objectives and ongoing initiatives.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives, ensuring messaging consistency and appropriate lead generation.
**Performance Management and Accountability**:
- Foster a culture of accountability and performance by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Play an active role in cross-functional projects and initiatives that impact sales, representing the sales perspective and ensuring that sales needs and goals are considered.
**Industry Engagement and Public Representation**:
- Act as the spokesperson for the organization in sales-related events and industry forums, effectively communicating the company's offerings, competitive advantage, and value proposition.
- Create an environment that promotes continuous learning and development for sales personnel, supporting their mastery of sales techniques, account management, and relationship building skills.
- Take a hands-on approach in coaching and developing the management of the sales team in selling techniques, negotiation skills, and presentation abilities, to ensure optimal performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability and performance by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.

- Proven leadership experience in a senior management role within the SaaS or CPaaS industry, with a strong focus on sales and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales strategies and operations, revenue enhancement, and customer success efforts.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Deep understanding of market trends, industry standards, and customer behavior in the SaaS/CPaaS industry.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on performance metrics and data-driven strategies.
- Proven ability to manage and execute large projects and to balance competing priorities effectively.
