Our Drives organisation is now seeking to recruit a **Global Water Industry Expert**, who will be recognized internally and externally as the Water expert for Danfoss Drives providing thought-leadership and creating partnerships inside and outside the company.
This person will be known as an engaging communicator who can adapt to different stakeholders, respected on the market as the expert in water industry, highly effective in large matrix organizations, capable of being both visionary and hands on when needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide thought-leadership on the Danfoss Drives offering and value proposition in Water business.
- Organize and present our value proposition at industry conferences and online events to build brand recognition.
- Select, join and represent Danfoss Drives in relevant industry associations to drive superior market requirements i.e. Danish Industry Water, Water Valley DK, Europump
- Observing and predicting technology shifts, create vision and way forward for Water business with a link to R&D.
- Co-develop the BU strategy with the BU leadership team.
- Create and develop strategic partnerships inside and outside Danfoss Drives.
- Be the main point of contact to develop and grow collaboration activities with other segments to support the holistic Water value proposition and brand recognition.
- Drive specific business opportunities with key customers and markets.
- Identify new hotspots and market trends and conduct the preliminary ground-work before introducing them to the BU strategy
- Work with Marketing to ensure thought-leadership and ESG messages are aligned with marketing communications.

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and background in drives and/or waters business is preferred.
- Proven track record in a sales leadership role, ability to lead sales teams and working in matrix.
- Customer/commercial leadership experience and ability to facilitate customers interactions with credibility, confidence and Think Danfoss mentality.
- Proven track record of developing and executing sales & strategy plans.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Travel mobility (up to 50% of time) at the regional/global level, with an expectation of 1 day/week in Grasten.
- Have a high degree of integrity, acting according to the company’s Ethical guidelines and business ethics.
