**Responsibilities**:
As the new Business Development Manager for Water, your responsibilities are to lead the development of the commercial proposal for the ECO-drive (ESG). This includes conducting customer interviews, building business cases, and market testing, as well as coordinating the collection of inputs and the development of value proposition storylines.

You will support the creation of vertical sales and strategy execution plans for priority countries, and manage the collection and distribution of market intelligence.

Engaging with relevant stakeholders within the business unit, such as product management and development, supply chain, and HR, to support the sales network development is crucial. You will be present at selected customers to foster new business opportunities, increase share of wallet, and assist sales teams in acquiring new customers.

Furthermore, you will support the sales team with marketing activities and coordinate business unit needs with MarCom.

**Background & Skills**:
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with a background in drives and/or the water business preferred.

You have a proven track record in strategy and business development and have experience working in a matrix organization.

A strong customer and commercial orientation, coupled with a "Think Danfoss" mentality, is essential.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to travel up to 30% of the time at a regional or global level. Additionally, you should have a high degree of integrity and consistently act in accordance with the company’s ethical guidelines and business ethics.
