Business Development Senior Specialist

**Responsibilities**:
- Communicate effectively with existing clients, fostering long-term relationships while actively seeking out potential leads.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with both new and existing customers.
- Ensure smooth operation of all sales administration and account management activities.
- Conduct periodic analysis of target markets, customers, and the company's performance to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities compared to competitors.
- Foster strong relationships with major customers to sustain a consistent flow of sales revenue.
- Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms with clients, and liaise with stakeholders.
- Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed and implement processes and policies to support overall business objectives.
- Track, identify, and nurture qualified prospects to expand the sales pipeline.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to drive business growth, conduct ongoing market research, and collaborate with the pricing department to create competitive rate proposals.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Shipping Industry is required.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Excellent command of English.
- Demonstrated success in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
**Key Skills**:
- Strong account management, business development, business planning, sales forecasting, and sales cycle management skills, with a comprehensive understanding of the entire sales process.
- Proficient in client relations and handling, with exceptional communication skills and self-confidence.
- Demonstrated ability in team leadership and supervision, along with problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
