Team Overview:
Being part of the Operations team will give you the unique opportunity to help drive growth in one of

the fastest-growing companies ever. This data-driven role calls for a rare combination of consumer, inspired analytical thinking & interpersonal ability.

The Operations team is responsible for bringing DiDi’s vision to life in our local markets.

**Day to day**: They are responsible for both strategy creation and execution for our Driver and Rider

focused activities. We are looking for a strong problem-solver with strong analytical skills to lead our

Marketplace Operations across Egypt. This person will work with others at DiDi to grow and optimize

our Business Operations and balance the needs of drivers and riders in the country. We study the

market, we have a very broad view of the business and we interact with every team in the company

to create our know-how. Then we build our mobility strategy, promote cross-functional collaboration,

lead resource allocation, set targets and lead executive forums.

Role Responsibilities:

- Taking ownership of DIDi's growth in MEA region: Help and guide project leaders to design
scope, goals and KPIs that are fully aligned with company strategy and OKRs. Responsible for
growing a best in class product, guided by first principle thinking, grounded by data,
iterating fast with experimentation and compounding improvements
- In-depth competitor analysis and case studies to help the team stay up-to-date on the latest
market evolution and industry trends.
- Constructing customer insights methodology to dig up customer pain points and feedback in
using the product and solutions to continuously improve the experience.
- Thinking out of the box to quickly innovate new processes, improve on existing processes and
resolve issues.
- Involved on Insightful operations: Build deep insights and understanding of the business and
product features through project management & stakeholder management.
- Dealing with data Analytics: data masters with Excel data processing and analysis, and
capable of writing SQL/Python Design and implementing initiatives to improve business and
product indicators, being able to leverage data for the decision-making process.
- Ensuring collaboration with multiple stakeholders to improve operational productivity & user
experience.
- Identifying synergies and overlaps among cross-functional areas and existing strategic
initiatives.
- Own the rider lifecycle, including improving efficiency of incentives and promotions,
and managing rider communications

Role Qualifications:

- 5+ years of operational/analytical experience gained in Consulting, investment banking,
marketing or operations management. (Hi-tech companies experience is a must).
- Engineering, Economics, Computer science, Actuary or any related bachelor’s degree.
- Data-driven decision-making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical
thinking
- Solid understanding of a variety of business models Startup (all-hands-on-deck)
"Hands-on" approach.
- Knowledge and interest in analytics and programming (Python, SQL, R, etc.) Studies with
data-based decision-making, exercising good judgment in ambiguous circumstances and
effectively communicating across a diverse team.
- Comfortable learning and using new strategies/methodologies. Proven to be self-motivated
and eager to take ownership of tasks to ensure solutions.
- Have a big picture business understanding, embrace change, have curiosity, problem solving
mindset, strong organization and ability to multi-task.
- Clear Communicator - you are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize
a lot of information quickly and highlight the key insights.
- Stakeholder Management: Create processes to have optimal communication with all
stakeholders, follow up on the project, and deliver results.
- Creative: Use creative approaches to solve complex issues and use data-driven thinking to
back those ideas.
- English Communications Skills: Advanced
- Chinese is a must
