Iot and Sms Presales Engineer

**Role Profile**:
1. Advanced Messaging Solutions Sales
- Responsible for understanding customer requirements, and act to fulfil such requirements by leveraging on Vodafone products and solutions including messaging, IoT and Big data services.
- Strong understanding of Vodafone Products, Services and solutions and how they can be tailored or pulled together to meet different entities needs.
- Full understanding of the confidentiality and data privacy of critical-related projects
- Work closely with product owners to deliver insights on the market and act as the customer voice inside Vodafone
- Excellent sales skills that abides with the Vodafone solution selling.
- Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.
2. Basic Presales Skills (Capabilities and Duties)
- Adequate understanding of the laws, regulations and governance of critical deals and purchasing process and cycle
- Respond to requests for information and requests for pricing.
- Work with sales personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities.
- Coordinate requirements and deliver proofs of concept to customers when needed.
- In conjunction with Sales Personnel, develop and conduct transition briefing - communicate commitments, expectations, customer organization, etc.
3. Reporting and analysis
- Provide the management with regular reports including the figures related to SMS\Messaging sales across all segments
4. Sales Achievement
- Maintain and ensure the consistency of target achievement in the assigned EBU segment.
**Qualifications**:
- Analytical thinking and Decision maker.
- Excellent communication skills and Presentation skills
- Strong commercial skills including contractual and commercial negotiation experience Team worker
- Knowledge of Vodafone IoT & Messaging products portfolio.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- Team player, strong influence and relationship management skills
- Strong communication and decision-making skills - ability to balance conflicting interests
Technical / Professional Expertise
- Solid IoT background preferably with technical education
- Unified Communication, Connectivity, call center, Mobile apps and mobility solutions, HW and professional services knowledge.
- Hands-on General IoT experience is a must.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
