First Call Contract Services is looking for an experienced administrator for a reputable manufacturing business located in Bury St Edmunds.

Aside from its primary food manufacturing and processing operations, our client also manages an agricultural business that requires additional administrative assistance.

The main responsibilities of the role will involve:

  • Data Management (proficient use of Microsoft Excel and internal systems)
  • Creating contract documentation
  • Handling customer relations
  • Processing, organizing, and uploading invoices
  • Collaborating with the accounts payable department
  • Managing records

You will receive a competitive pay rate of £16.20 per hour, paid on a weekly basis.

This is a temporary position expected to last for 4 months. However, with a workforce of over 1600 employees and an impressive turnover of £700m+, the company is willing to offer a permanent contract to candidates who demonstrate the right skills and achieve satisfactory outcomes.

The working hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility available to accommodate personal circumstances.

We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
  • Adaptable to various work scenarios and willing to undertake additional duties
  • Capable of working independently once trained
  • Prior experience in invoice management
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable interacting with different departments and stakeholders
  • Preferred background in the agricultural industry, though not mandatory
