Job Description

Position Overview:

As an Export Sales Manager at you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our export operations, with a primary focus on fruits and vegetables . You will play a pivotal role in managing the export process ensuring compliance with international regulations and optimizing supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market presence and increase export sales of fruits and vegetables.
  • Identify new market opportunities and establish relationships with potential buyers, distributors, and partners worldwide.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, quality control, logistics, and sales to ensure seamless export operations.
  • Oversee the documentation process including permits, certificates, invoices, and shipping documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor shipping schedules, freight rates, and transportation costs to optimize logistics operations and minimize expenses.
  • Stay informed about international trade regulations, tariffs, and phytosanitary standards to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in industry fairs, exhibitions, and trade shows to showcase our products, network with potential clients, and stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in export management, with a strong emphasis on fruits and vegetables handling.
  • Proven track record of success in the agriculture or food industry, with a deep understanding of handling, and export procedures.
  • Experience in participating in industry fairs, exhibitions, or trade shows is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade practices, customs regulations, and export documentation procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and export management software.
  • Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
