Job Description

Union Coating is a leading manufacturer of high-quality powder-coated products, seeking an experienced Export Specialist to expand our reach in the Eastern European market. This role will be instrumental in driving sales, expanding our export operations, and building strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in Eastern European markets.
* Conduct market research, analyze competitor activities, and identify the best location to establish a warehouse to serve Eastern Europe and Europe.
* Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans for the region.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors in the region.
* Negotiate and secure contracts, ensuring profitable and sustainable business partnerships.
* promote company products and build brand awareness.
Export Operations:

* Monitor and analyze export performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
* Manage the full export process, including order fulfillment, documentation, logistics, and shipping.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant export regulations and requirements, including trade agreements, customs regulations, and international trade laws.
* Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs brokers to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipment.
* Manage export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other relevant paperwork.

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications:

    * 3+ years of experience in international export, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
    * Proven track record of successfully developing and managing export sales in Eastern European markets.
    * Strong understanding of export documentation, logistics, and shipping processes.
    * Excellent knowledge of international trade regulations, trade agreements, and customs procedures.
    * Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and preferably also in one or more Eastern European languages.
    * Proficient in MS Office suite and other relevant software, including ERP and CRM systems.
    * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
    * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    * Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
