Service Delivery Associate

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Service Delivery Associate - Time, Leave & Absence for one of our partners, a global leader in the chemical industry field.
**Job Summary**:
As a Service Delivery Associate - Time, Leave & Absence, you will play a crucial role in executing the day-to-day operational activities of the end-to-end Time, Leave & Absence processes. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of these processes and providing the required support to relevant stakeholders. This role requires basic understanding of Time, Leave & Absence processes including timesheet validation, maintaining leave calendars & records, leave balance checks & reconciliations, absence tracking and management etc., particularly the administrative and operational aspects.
You will report to the Service Delivery Manager - Time & Payroll.

**Responsibilities**:

- Time & attendance operations:

- Maintain and administer timekeeping systems and tools to accurately track employee hours worked, including time entry, approvals, and adjustments.
- Monitor and reconcile time and attendance data to ensure compliance with the company's policies, labor regulations, and any relevant collective bargaining agreements.
- Leave & absence operations:

- Administer employee leave requests, including vacation, sick leave, personal leave, and other types of paid and unpaid time off.
- Process and approve leave requests in accordance with the company's policies, collective bargaining agreements, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of employee leave balances, accruals, and usage in HRIS systems or leave management software.
- Monitor leave balances and notify employees and managers of available leave entitlements, accrual rates, and usage limits, as needed.
- Monitor employee attendance and absenteeism, identifying patterns or trends that may require intervention or management.
- Track and document instances of unplanned absences, and unauthorized leave, following the right processes for recording and reporting.
- Facilitate the return-to-work process for employees returning from leaves of absence, including coordinating reinstatement of benefits, updating schedules, and ensuring a smooth transition back to work.
- Data management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leave requests, approvals, denials, and adjustments, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping policies and regulations, and share it with relevant stakeholders as needed. Ensure consistency of the data, as well as compliance with any data protection regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 3+ years in HR Administration, Service Delivery, or a related field, with a focus on time, leave and absence.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and data protection regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other relevant tools.
- Fluent written and verbal Arabic and English language proficiency.
- Skills:

- Scope of Work: Understanding, experience and working knowledge in time, leave and absence. Proven experience and working knowledge in executing and delivering time, leave and absence processes such as timesheet validation, processing leave requests, managing return to work, maintaining leave balances and reporting leave and absence data through HRIS technology platforms.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Working effectively with Shared Services and cross functional teams, and external partners to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Process Proficiency: Hands-on experience and understanding of time, leave and absence services and operations.
- Technical Experience: Hands-on experience with HRIS technology platforms.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to anticipate and address potential challenges related to leave and absence, offering practical and innovative solutions.
- Organizational & Time Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Analytical Abilities: Interpreting and managing time, leave and absence data effectively. Ability to derive insights and present findings to support decision-making.
