We are looking for an HPC Network and managed services Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining networks for customer engagements as part of our Managed Services team.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop full documentation for existing networks and maintaining documentation for all new networks and changes.
- Recommend design improvements for fault tolerance, resilience, efficiency and performance of the deployed Network.
- Plan and implement the recommendations.
- Install and configure computer IP networks such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), connections to the Internet, intranets, and other data communications systems.
- Install network software infrastructure.
- Design network solutions according to best practices and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain configuration management best practices.
- Monitor network usage, performance, and security.
- Ensure networks are running per requirements.
- Oversee network software security.
- Undertake routine preventative measures and implement, maintain, and monitor network security.
- Troubleshoot and restore systems after network faults.
- Document network problems and resolutions.
- Operate support process using proper case management.
- Develop automation and other tools to improve operations.
- Support other administrators in the delivery of overall service.
- Participate in growing technical capabilities through knowledge-sharing and team activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study with equivalent experience in network engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Ethernet and InfiniBand networks.
- Experience with Cumulus Linux and NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand networking operating systems is a must.
- Strong understanding of Ethernet and InfiniBand network infrastructure, network hardware, and network software, including NVIDIA/Mellanox, Arista, and Cisco enterprise gear.
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, controllers, as well as server, workstation, and other client networking systems.
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network systems.
- Understanding of and experience managing network security.
- Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection to meet customer requirements.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
