**Principal Process Engineer - Desalination and Wastewater Treatment**

EnviroTech International is recruiting an experienced Principal Process Engineer specialising in Desalination, Industrial Process Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants with 10 plus years’ experience in the Water and Wastewater Engineering Sectors.

In this highly visible role, some tasks you will undertake include:

- Assisting the Business Development team with proposals for Technical Water Treatment Plant solutions to clients by providing appropriate Technical Data and Production Chemical knowledge.
- Deliver feasibility studies to solve complex Wastewater Treatment and Water Reuse challenges to meet stringent environmental requirements.
- Create Process Wastewater Treatment Designs for Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC projects.
- Develop the Basis of Design, undertake Detailed Calculations to develop the Design of Water Treatment Plants and be responsible for the accuracy of these calculations.
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment specifications, Process Descriptions and P&IDs for review and approval.
- Perform safety related calculations and provide input to Hazops, SIL and other safety reviews as directed.
- Undertake Process Design Work as required and check work on the project as appropriate.
- Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed.
- Ensure that Design Methods, standards and data used conform with Client's requirements.
- Execute Process Engineering Activities within the Budget and Schedule, as well as maintaining Technical Integrity of the Designs.
- Contribute where necessary to review of Supplier Quotations and Costings Reviews of the project 3D CAD Model.
- Participate in Technical Meetings and handle discussions with Client Engineers.
- Assist as required in the preparation of Operating Manuals.

**Skills / Qualifications**:
Chemical Engineering Degree or Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Chartered Chemical Engineer status (desirable).

Experience of working on FEED and EPC projects.

Experience as part of an Integrated Project Management Team.

Proven core Process Engineering skills, including industrial wastewater design experience.

Skilled in resolution of technical process design issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awareness.

Ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectives.

Display analytical and innovation skills to manage new technology.

Experience with oil in water analysis and general water analysis.

Experience with the principles of operating separation systems, both for oil & gas and produced water streams.

Ability to lead bids; Project Management experience would be an advantage.

Hands-on understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies commissioning experience.
