**Job Summary**:
The SMO/ Consortium EHS Team lead is responsible for the monitoring, implementation & support of the EHS on e-HSR Project. The EHS SMO lead is responsible for the implementation of the Consortium EHS System and procedural compliance the onsite supporting the SMO lots, Consortium partners and sub-contractors.
The EHS SMO Team leader must be prepared to work predominantly on the Project Site. Closely align with the SMO & Consortium EHS managers to seek the maximum level of harmonization and EHS standards for the whole e-HSR Project. As per Egyptian Law.
**Your Role - International, Challenging and Future-Oriented**
- Overall responsibility for the Implementation & monitoring the compliance of the EHS procedures as part of the Consortium Joint Venture
- Responsible for supporting contractors & sub-contractors with the EHS strategy and procedures, permits and lost prevention inspections
- Responsible to monitoring the EHS Coverage coordinate the supervision of the installation performed by CJV & SMO
- Responsible to coordinate with the SMO, consortium, and contractor EHS requirements
- Maintain EHS process at site to ensure compliance with EHS & IFC guidelines
- Report any breaches of Life saving rules
- Review EHS safe systems of work at site inclusive of Method statement STARRT cards Permits
- Review wayside location for equipment and plant compliance
- Ensure all persons on the wayside location are trained and authorized to be on site
- Attend and deliver weekly toolbox topics in line with consortium EHS team
- Provide support to SMO lots maintaining a two month lookahead through the construction and installation schedules review of Lots EHS documentation and compliance.
- Provide advice and guidance on project EHS requirements to SMO and Construction teams
- Prepare monthly EHS lot performance reports technical submitted to the EHS consortium Manager
- Conduct weekly walkthrough with the Lot Team and Management
- Prepare observation and NCR reports as required
- Work and promote EHS with in the project
