Data Quality Specialist

LOCATION :Cairo / Nasr City

- Develop and implement data quality strategies and initiatives aligned with the NDMO framework to maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.
- Perform comprehensive data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and gaps across various data sources and systems.
- Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and stakeholders to define data quality requirements and establish data quality standards in line with NDMO guidelines.
- Design and create data cleansing, enrichment processes to improve data quality and resolve identified data quality issues. - Conduct Gathering of requirement for data profiling while adhering to NDMO best practices.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure data quality standards align with NDMO guidelines and organizational policies.
- Adaptation: identify and integrate innovative approaches and best practices into strategic planning processes.
- Develop and deliver data quality training sessions and workshops to enhance data literacy, awareness, and adherence to NDMO principles and practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, NDMO updates, best practices, and emerging technologies in data quality management.

- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in data quality management tools and software.
- Understanding of data profiling techniques and data quality assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of data cleansing, enrichment, and standardization techniques.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Experience with data governance principles and data quality frameworks.
- **Analytical Skills**: The ability to analyze complex datasets, identify data quality issues, root causes, and trends, and propose solutions to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- **Attention to Detail**: Data quality specialists must have a keen eye for detail to detect errors, anomalies, and discrepancies in data and ensure that it meets predefined quality standards.
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**: Data quality specialists should be skilled at troubleshooting data-related issues, devising data quality rules and policies, and implementing corrective measures to address data quality problems.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and business users, to understand data requirements, explain data quality issues, and implement data quality solutions.
- **Data Governance Knowledge**: Understanding of data governance principles, policies, and processes, including data stewardship, metadata management, and data lineage.
- **Knowledge of Data Regulations**: Familiarity with data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and industry-specific compliance requirements related to data quality and data management.
