As a Quality Packaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met in our packaging processes. You will be responsible for overseeing packaging operations, conducting quality inspections, and implementing best practices to optimize packaging efficiency and product integrity.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE **
- Maintain compliance with the Nestlé Integrated Management System and other applicable instructions, standards, and support production to ensure product specific standards.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of packaging operations, including packaging materials, equipment, and processes.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and customer specifications.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for packaging processes.
- Identify and resolve packaging-related issues, including defects, labeling errors, and packaging inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, supply chain, and quality assurance to optimize packaging efficiency and product quality.
- Train and educate packaging & production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in packaging technology to recommend improvements and innovation.
- Conduct root cause analysis to implement corrective actions for packaging-related non-conformities and customer complaints.
- Generate reports and documentation related to packaging quality, performance, and improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Deliver training for his/her specific areas of expertise.
- Ensure support to any new product development and engage with the business to have the updated packaging materials with all the Quality & Food Safety requirements.
- Perform the packaging daily release process according to Nestlé quality standards and release the packaging material after evaluation & quality verification.
- Support artwork approval processes and new packaging development evaluation from a QA standpoint.

**What will make you successful**
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in quality control and packaging within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, equipment, and processes.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify packaging defects and inconsistencies.
- Proficient in conducting quality inspections, data analysis, and generating reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement corrective actions.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Certifications in quality control, packaging, or related fields are a plus.
