**About the role**
This is a newly created role for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead, mentor, and motivate our Flights Sales Team. You will be responsible for developing and implement sales strategies focusing on two key areas:
- Sales via booking recovery - Converting customers from existing bookings that either failed or were unsuccessful online by converting offline.
- Inbound call centre - Facilitating bookings from customers where they are either unable to transact online or where special offline fares exist.
As a new team we require a Sales Manager that is able to develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share. Additionally be able to step in and to assist team members to manage complex booking issues and resolve customer issues when necessary.
**What you will be doing**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring that we implement and maintain efficient workflows that adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Manage the scheduling and rostering of the team ensuring that we have adequate coverage to operate 24x7, 365 days a year.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams in the development and implementation of sales promotions and products.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Utilise data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve team performance.
- Ensure all team members are effectively cross selling and upselling all of our products and that they are all trained on all of our systems and products with the ability to maximise sales.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- A degree in Business Administration or Tourism & Hospitality, or a related field.
- Certification by IATA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales management role within the travel industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Extensive experience with GDS systems such as Sabre, Galileo, or Amadeus.
- Strong team management and communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English; additional language skills are a plus.
